  1. I-CLARE – Intelligent remediation system for removal of harmful contaminants in water using modified reticulated vitreous carbon foams.

    Aim of the project: The main goal of this project is to design and create an electrochemical water treatment system with implemented artificial intelligence procedures to identify and learn the most effective operating parameters to neutralize the mixture of pollutants. This highly efficient electrochemical reactor will be built based on an innovative type of electrode material. The proposed approach uses reticulated vitreous carbon (RVC) foams embedded with modified metal oxides (MMOs) and thin diamond layers.

  2. GYNOCHECKResearch and development work on an innovative, fast, and cheap test for the diagnosis of bacterial vaginosis under 1.1 Smart Growth Operational Program 2014-2020, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund; Priority I: Support for R&D by enterprises; 1.1 R&D projects of enterprises; 1.1.1: Industrial research and development works carried out by enterprises
    Aim of the project: development and implementation on the market of a PoC (Point of Care) device for the rapid identification of Streptococcus agalactiae, Gardnerella vaginalis, Mycoplasma hominis, Ureaplasma urealyticum, and Ureaplasma parvum. The main advantage of the developed test will be the quick and simple identification of bacteria from a vaginal smear. After several to several dozen minutes during a medical visit, the result will be available without the need to send samples for laboratory tests. The test will be dedicated to gynecological patients, mainly pregnant women.

Research and development work on an innovative, fast and cheap test for the detection of Streptococcus pyogenes and pnumoniae, along with the identification of antibiotic resistance, under Measure 4.1 of the Smart Growth Operational Program 2014-2020, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund; Priority IV: Increasing the scientific and research potential; Action 4.1: Research and development work; Sub-measure 4.1.2: Regional scientific and research agendas.



    Aim of the project: development and implementation on the market of a PoC (Point of Care) device for the rapid identification of Streptococcus pyogenes and Streptococcus pneumoniae bacteria along with the determination of antibiotic resistance genes, the main advantage of which will be the species identification of bacteria from the throat swab with the simultaneous analysis of the antibiotic resistance profile. Thanks to this, the initial treatment will be carried out to exclude such antibiotics to which the given strains will be resistant.

    Aim of the project: The project aims to develop and implement a quick test to diagnose virus and bacterial infections in horses. The result of the project will be a tool intended for horse breeders, supporting the monitoring and precise diagnosis of the source of animal infection, thus preventing the spread of pathogens and protecting farms.

    Aim of the project: Aim and effects of the project: development of an innovative diagnostic test for the detection of pathogens causing upper respiratory tract infections – MULTISENSOR The test will detect five pathogens that most often cause upper respiratory tract infections and will therefore be used to differentiate the bacterial or viral etiology of the infection, allowing rationalization of the use of antibiotics.

    Project description:

    The project implemented by SensDx, as part of IMPACT_Poland, aims to develop a development (acceleration) plan for the company and prepare the necessary tools to implement the company’s products on the market. The financial support granted relates to conducting marketing research targeted at target groups in Poland and abroad, which will help to adjust products to real market needs. The device prototype (Mobi and Pro) design for tests is also developed to fulfill all functions and is ergonomic from the end user’s perspective. The project includes marketing activities, supply chain analysis, preparation of documentation for certification, and development of a corporate and product visual identification system.
